Columbus Day weekend is the busiest weekend of the year for the Braintree area. A number of local hotels are already starting to sell out. All of the hotels listed below are ten minutes away from Thayer Academy's off-campus fields.
We have a block of rooms reserved under Catamount Classic at the Comfort Inn in Randolph, Massachusetts. The room rate for our block is $109.00 a night and it includes a continental breakfast in the morning. This year each team will be given a certain number of reserved parking spots. If you arrive at the touranment and your spots are taken and the lots are full please park at Thayer Academy's main campus. We will have a shuttle service busing parents and fans to and from the event all day. The shuttle will start at 7:30 am and will stop at 7:00 pm. This year we have created a parking lot map and the attendant will show you the easiest route to access your teams tailgate. Please let us know if you have someone in your car who needs handicapped access. We also have reserved parking for anyone with a handicap plate/tag and have access to two golf carts, which can transport fans to and from the event gates.
We have sectioned off a parking lot for all of the team parents and tailgates. The lead parking attendant will have a map highlighted with your team tailgate information. We will do our best to make sure your cars are all in the same area. You are welcome to send a team parent to the event early to set-up your tailgate area and tent. Bathrooms will be located in the tailgating section. You will need trash bags for clean up and the dumpster is located near the entrance of the field. Please contact us for more information.
