2012 Catamount Classic - Lacrosse For A Cure

Date: October 6, 2012 - Women's Tournament ( 9:00 am - 4:30 pm)
           October 7, 2012 - Men's Tournament ( 8:00 am - 6:30 pm)
Location: Thayer Academy’s Off-Campus Turf Fields, 1535 Washington Street, Braintree, Massachusetts


**Event is held rain or shine and umbrellas are permitted.**

9 D1 women’s college lacrosse teams with start off our weekend with scrimmages all day on October 6, 2012. The women will each play four scrimmages with 20 minute running halves. 18 men’s college lacrosse teams will take the field on Sunday, Sunday October 7, 2012. The men will play two or more full-length scrimmages throughout the day. All of the proceeds from both tournaments will be donated to cancer research at the Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.

Pet Policy:

Thayer Academy does NOT allow dogs inside the field gates. Dogs are permitted on the hills outside the gates and in the parking lots. We ask that you please pick up after your pet if you plan on bringing one to the tournament.

 

Event Parking:

Fans can park on-site for the women’s tournament. If you are a parent of a player please check our parent information page for tailgate locations and information. On Sunday we will have a shuttle running back and forth to the fields from Thayer Academy’s main campus, 745 Washington Street in Braintree. The shuttle will run until 7:00 pm and will drop fans off at the event gate.

All event proceeds will be donated to men’s and women’s cancer research at the
Dana-Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, Massachusetts.
