2010 Men's Nike Lacrosse Camps ... USSC has partnered with Ryan Curtis, the Head Lacrosse Coach at the University of Vermont, in offering a Nike Lacrosse Camp this coming August. Instruction takes place on the practice fields of the Vermont Catamounts while overnight campers stay in nearby student housing on campus. Prior to taking over at Vermont, Curtis spent eight years playing Major League Lacrosse for the Boston Cannons (2001-06, 2008) in Boston, Mass., and for the Washington Bayhawks (2007) in Washington, D.C. He was named a MLL All-Star five times and was named the MLL Defensive Player of the Year in 2003. He was also named the Cannons' MVP on three occasions and was a three-time captain in Boston. Curtis is a 2000 graduate of the University of Virginia and won a national championship with the Cavaliers in 1999. He was named a First Team NCAA All-American twice and was named the 1999 NCAA Defenseman of the Year. Curtis was also a two-time captain at UVA and was named to the 50th Anniversary All-ACC Team. Curtis served as an assistant coach for the Dartmouth College men’s lacrosse team in 2006. With the Big Green, Curtis was involved with practice preparation, team and individual drills and worked closely with the defensive unit. He was also a member of the United States National Lacrosse Team that participated in the World Championships and won a silver medal in 2006. Register on-line: click here Camp Staff:
